POACHED EGGS

How do I cook poached eggs - such a common question I get asked. Simple when you know how, get it right and you'll be poaching them every day!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES: 1

1 fresh egg

1 tbsp vinegar

METHOD

1: Bring a pan of water to a gentle boil.

2: Add the vinegar to a small cup and crack the egg in.

3: Stir the boiling water with a slotted spoon to form a vortex in the water.

4: Drop the egg and vinegar from the cup into the middle of the vortex.

5: Leave them to cook for about 3 minutes.

6: Remove eggs with your slotted spoon and season.
